Modulette® Deck Tiles:
Easy Installation for Attractive Outdoor Living

Modulette® tiles are an excellent alternative to cold, hard cement balconies and rooftop terraces in Apartments and Condominiums. Furthermore, they can be used to cover damaged or weathered wood decks. Construction adhesive may be used to fasten the deck tiles to an existing hard surface, or they may be placed loose by means of a friction fit (similar to a jigsaw puzzle).   >>View images		The Modulette® tiles can also be installed as traditional patio slabs. This is the perfect option for an application where the warmth of a wood deck is wanted, but there is not enough vertical clearance for the construction of supporting joists that traditional wood decks require. Treated landscape timbers are used as a border to contain the deck tiles, where they sit on a bed of pea gravel. The deck mats are flexible due to the two durable plastic tubes installed through the wood slats which enables the tiles to lie flat on uneven surfaces.
